After 300 years of eventful history, the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) is today one of the most versatile artistically oriented educational institutions in Europe. The UdK offers their 4,138 students - including 956 international students - over 30 arts study programmes with associated scientific courses. A total staff of 728 professionals supervise the courses. In addition to the day-to-day running of the university, teachers and students present themselves and their work to the critical public eye in over 800 events per year. The curriculum focusses on the design process - from the brief via concept and development to presentation.
