CREATE BERLIN Showroom starts January 2007
In January 2007 CREATE BERLIN opens a new showroom at a new location in the Postfuhramt region of Berlin. We provide Berlin designers and creative talents with a platform to present their creative works. The creative pulse of Berlin is invigorated through temporary exhibitions, activities and events.
The Postfuhramt Berlin is a central location in the heart of Berlin with both old history rich in tradition and exciting new history in the making. From where mail used to be dispatched all over the world in the past, to the home of current events, exhibitions and nightlife. (For instance, in the Cookies have taken place since the 1990’s.) With the Rodeo Club moving in, the Postfuhramt again has become a prime address for Berlin revelers. And with the gallery C/O Berlin, the Berlin art and gallery scene has made the PFA its home. In immediate proximity of Transform Berlin/DESIGNMAI and CREATE BERLIN, in the ground floor wing towards Oranienburger Straße, the Postfuhramt consistently attracts the members of Berlin's design scene and creative scene as guests, visitors and users.
With its Showroom CREATE BERLIN sets up a room for ideas in the PFA.
