CREATE BERLIN will host the exhibition “Raking Leaves in the Wind,” from October 29th through November 28th, 2008!
“Raking Leaves in the Wind” is an exhibition by Berlin-based Canadians Julien Vallée, Eve Duhamel and Brent Wadden, featuring playful graphics, drawings, paintings, animations, and paper installations.
Julien Vallée, born in 1983, is a freelance artist and designer working in a wide range of
fields, such as art direction, motion graphics, print design, art installation as well as film
and design for the music industry. Since his graduation from Université du Québec à
Montréal in graphic design in 2007, his work was largely published in a variety of
graphic books and magazines around the world. In 2008 he was awarded the Young
Guns Award of the Art Directors Club in New York. www.jvallee.com
Eve Duhamel, born in 1982, is a visual artist from Montreal currently living and working in
Berlin. Only three years out of her Bachelor in Visual and Media Arts in Université du
Québec à Montréal, she already had 3 solo exhibitions in Montreal, and have seen her
work published in books from Canada, Korea and the UK. www.eveduhamel.com
Brent Wadden, born in 1979, is a visual artists from Nova Scotia living and working in
Berlin since 2004. He graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in
2003 and since then has had solo exhibitions in Canada and Berlin as well as group
exhibitions in the UK, France, USA and China. His work has been published in various
magazines and books such has NeoGeo, published by Die Gestalten Verlag in 2007.

During the exhibition, the artists invite visitors to a creative Drawing Club in the CREATE
BERLIN SHOWROOM, in order to make our dreary daily routines a bit more colourful.
Simply stop by on Saturday, November 8th, between 7 pm and 10 pm.
Bring your paper, scissors, and pens along, and get ready for lots of fun!
