Creating must-have bags and conceptual feminine avantgarde: after their diploma from the Fashion Design School Esmod Berlin, designers Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna Kühl founded the fashion label KAVIAR GAUCHE in November 2003. Their philosophy is the process. Development is internal to the brand, within the products from collection to collection, without bowing to current trends. A basic intention of the design duo is the symbiosis between bag and clothing: bag elements are transferred to clothes and typical details of the clothes are found again in the bag design. The brand name was inspired by "gauche kaviar" - the so-called French jet-set which liked to coquet with the ideas of the 68-revolution.
