CODE Poster Contest 2009 - THE WINNERS ARE CHOSEN!

24.08.2009 - 06.09.2009

Since 2006, Berlin is Europe’s first and only »UNESCO-City of Design«.
The title »CODE« stands for »City Of DEsign« and also for the visual key of Berlin.
Together with 300 international creative minds, we were looking for Berlin’s »CODE«.

»CODE« was the biggest showcase of the creative industries in Berlin in a city-wide exhibition with about 1.200 posters from 24 August - 6 September 2009.

In an award ceremony during the CREATE BERLIN Summer Fest at the Bauhaus-Archiv, 3 winners were chosen from the Top 20 submissions.

The winners are:

3. Platz: Ett la benn / Moritz Grund, "Tempelhof"

2. Platz: Sara O'Dea (Metadesign), "DNA"

1. Platz: Martina Wember, "B_Parks"

Congratulations for everyone of the winners for the chance to live and work in a UNESCO City of Design of their choice for one month.

"CODE" was realized after a suggestion of the Canadian agency Sid Lee.

We would like to thank all our partners and sponsors for their support!
