Open Design City

13.08.2010 - 26.08.2010

Open Design City, is more than a workshop, it is a collaboration space in which new relationships and projects will be formed between its citizens.

Open Design City is a space that encourages the sharing of tools, knowledge, ideas and skills. It is a space to explore the principles of Open Design.

Since April 2010, the ODC at betahaus invites everyone to drop by, make things and share. Share tmenselves, share their tools, share their time and share their ideas.

In August 2010, the ODC was our guest at the CREATE BERLIN Showroom, and with them they brought some exciting stuff: vertical gardens made from empty Volvic bottles, Albinoplast's "Plastic Playground", Arduino and lampshades made of vintage clothing.

We also hosted a hanging gardens workshop, accompanied by a vintage fabric lampshade factory.

The CREATE BERLIN Showroom is made possible through the support of one strong partner: BERLINER BANK. The BERLINER BANK supports innovation and the growth of the creative industries in Berlin.

The lighting structure is provided with kind support by CREATE BERLIN member Semperlux.
