Raking Leaves in the Wind
29.10.2008 - 28.11.2008“Raking Leaves in the Wind” is an exhibition by Berlin-based Canadians Julien Vallée, Eve Duhamel and Brent Wadden, featuring playful graphics, drawings, paintings, animations, and paper installations.
Julien Vallée, born in 1983, is a freelance artist and designer working in a wide range offields, such as art direction, motion graphics, print design, art installation as well as filmand design for the music industry. Since his graduation from Université du Québec à
Montréal in graphic design in 2007, his work was largely published in a variety ofgraphic books and magazines around the world. In 2008 he was awarded the YoungGuns Award of the Art Directors Club in New York.
Eve Duhamel, born in 1982, is a visual artist from Montreal currently living and working inBerlin. Only three years out of her Bachelor in Visual and Media Arts in Université duQuébec à Montréal, she already had 3 solo exhibitions in Montreal, and have seen herwork published in books from Canada, Korea and the UK.
Brent Wadden, born in 1979, is a visual artists from Nova Scotia living and working inBerlin since 2004. He graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in2003 and since then has had solo exhibitions in Canada and Berlin as well as groupexhibitions in the UK, France, USA and China. His work has been published in various
magazines and books such has NeoGeo, published by Die Gestalten Verlag in 2007.
During the exhibition, the artists invite visitors to a creative Drawing Club in the CREATEBERLIN SHOWROOM, in order to make our dreary daily routines a bit more colourful.
